Tear

I found these darling orange shorts [don't judge orange, it has fine potential] on topshop or modcloth or one of my regulars. Upon stalking them all tonight I tragically discovered that they have been removed. I want to cry.

I must now journey on to find some pretty shorts like the ones I longed for.

I also must study, considering I have a history exam tomorrow. Not so righteous.

Mmm I currently have an exam to study for, a sponsor child to write to, 3 assignments to do, a new camera to take out and plenty of homework to tend to. I can promise you none of it will happen tonight.

On a completely random note, we fully had a day full of history today. Each period was a different teacher with a different topic - Good thing I love history.

With all of that in mind - There is nothing a good cup of tea can't fix.

Awkward Transitions

Hating on the iffy transition period from Winter to Summer. I mean let's be honest - It will still be cold for a while but then again, I don't want to go buying Knitwear and Coats and layering things and whatnot with Summer just around the corner.

Frustration I tell you!

On a lighter note: I folded the top of a maxi dress into a mad long skirt for Folk night at Church and it decided to work a treat! Keen on summer - Will definitely be wearing it more than once!

Spend Spend Spend

In my opinion, spending ridiculous amounts of money is perfectly fine if you can justify the reason. The fact that 95% of the time I actually can't provide substantial justification is besides the point. My mom thinks that I have a spending obsession, but I like to think otherwise.

I was hearting things on weheartit.com, naturally, and despite my hatin ways I fell in love with some Sydney photos.

I've gotten about 5 hours sleep per night for the last week or so... I feel like death!

So much has happened in the past few days:

- I turned 16

- I had a massive partay

- I gained a boyfriend

- Amy gained a boyfriend

- I got 5 assignments

- I got $750

You could say I love my life, but that would be a sheer understatement... Except the assignments... I hate on them.

The time has nearly arrived!!! Katelyn turns 16 in 2 hours and 50 minutes - WOO!

I also started my new job tonight which was AMAZING... It's not slave labour, unlike my previous job! Ok Ok I'm being a little dramatic in saying that Maccas was slave labour but what's new? Katelyn = Dramatic!

Mother showed me the most amazing little vintage store just over the bridge today - I could've died and felt content... IT WAS AMAZING. Definitely my new little home :)

Totally did most of my last minute party shopping today! It was seriously such a massive day but after hours of arduous work I can finally rejoice in the fact that it's all under control!

Kind of have to buy my mask now... and set everything up... and buy all the drinks... tie bows and set out candles and hang material and set up the dance floor and get the jukebox delivered and make awards and blow up balloons... other than all that though I'm sweet! STRESS! Haha.

I had the best weekend at a women's camp! I am seriously beyond tired now though due to stupid camp wake up times, as usual.

Highlights:

- Partying on down to our rendition of California Gurls at 11 30pm. Eastcoast city gurls, we're undeniable.

- Wild Karaoke times, Single Ladies, Love Shack, Umbrella!
